Incent traffic or incentivized traffic, is campaign traffic based on a reward system. Incent campaigns feature ads that encourage users to complete goal engagements.
These ads can prompt users to perform different actions. For example, complete a survey or install an app. In exchange for doing so, users receive certain rewards like in-app currency, discounts, or cash.
The most popular types of incent advertising include offerwall ads, rewarded video ads, and incentivized referrals.
Contrary to incentivized ads, non-incentivized ads are standard ads that promote apps without a value exchange system (e.g., interstitial ads and banners).
