What is RPD?
RPD stands for Revenue Per Download and is a metric used to measure how much revenue a company earns on average each time its app or game is downloaded.
How to calculate RPD?
To calculate the RPD of an app, divide the total revenue by the total number of downloads.

Example
If a mobile game generates $500,000 in revenue from 1,000,000 downloads:
RPD = 500,000 / 1,000,000 = 0.50
So the RPD is $0.50, meaning the company earns 50 cents per download.
Why is RPD important?
RPD is a key metric for understanding how effectively a mobile app generates revenue from each user download. It offers a clear view into the app’s monetization performance, helping developers and marketers assess whether their acquisition efforts are translating into financial return.
